As part of the Federal Governments economic stimulus package and to improve the energy efficiency of Australian homes, the Government will pay up to $1,200 for existing houses that do not currently have insulation to be installed with ceiling insulation.
For most home owners, this amount will cover 100% of the cost of installation. Landlords can also benefit from a rebate of up to $1,200 to install insulation in their rental properties.
